One of the BEST

I just want to say that I subscribe to a lot of ezines--or have, as I unsub if they aren't useful--and yours is one of the BEST. I look forward to it and forward it to friends if I think they might find a particular topic interesting too.

Thank you for doing such a great job!

It Inspires Me

I have been on your mailing list for years now, and don't read all the ones I get. But whenever I do, I appreciate the nurturing tone, non-competitive style and peaceful attitude of your writing. And it also inspires me. I answer your writing about death because that is the most meaningful topic to me, but today I have read the writing on God.

I believe we humans are primarily perceivers, and our language is so limiting to describe the area in the limits of our less restricting perceptions. And to a perceiver it is hard to describe the what part, easier to just give us the how. And your writings represent that both about death and about God.

I have been lately using my death as an adviser. And your writing grasps that attitude very well. In the face of my death is this particular sorrow, attitude, judgement indeed all so important? The answer is always 'no'.

I am lucky to have this insight available - I get around on my bike exclusively, and doing that there is plenty of opportunity to die fast, considering car traffic and lack of drivers' experience and cell phones, so that keeps me connected to my advisor very well.

Thank you for your writings.

Gabor

Truly Enjoyed this Newsletter

Tim

Thank you for this newsletter. I really enjoyed the video of you 'You can let go'. It brought me to tears.

I am not interested in marketing but very much in self improvement and spiritual readings, books and recordings.

Thank you again!
Truly enjoyed this newsletter!

I like reading what YOU write

Hi Tim

I like the online newsletter much better than the email one. It is very nicely set out and uncluttered, nice colour scheme and you can easily see what is there.

BTW I like reading what YOU write rather than other people's stuff...

love and blessings

Personal Transformation

Hi Tim,

... About 2 years ago I was broke, depressed and out of work. I was searching the internet and came across your book 'Personal Transformation'.

It opened up new possibilities about what I could achieve.

Since then I've read hundreds of books on self improvement, mind power and internet marketing. I've worked hard and never stopped believing in my dreams - to have a successful internet business and help change people's lives.

And finally it's coming true - in our first week, we've made close to $100,000 in sales and had some wonderful reviews. 2 years ago that was just a dream. So thank you for opening my eyes, and mind to what is possible.

warmly

Iain

Feeling of Joy, Happiness and Success

Hi, Dr. Ong!

My name is Jenny and I emailed you several weeks ago about my intentions for 2007. I read your email last night, and happened upon your link to theselfimprovementsite.com, and I wanted to have a look around your website. There, in the center of the page, I saw the email I wrote you about my sister, my husband and my amazement with The Secret video. My eyes opened with joy when I saw my words on your site!

I've been focusing my thoughts and attention on the abundance of wealth, joy and prosperity. One of my visions is of me being a recognized digital media entreprenuer and being widely known and respected. Your exerpt of my email is the first recognition I've 'seen' in the short few weeks I've been thinking these thoughts. The feeling of joy, happiness and success were enormous and gratifying! Thank you so much for being a part of my success! I am very grateful!

In the month of January my sister and I have become so much closer in our relationship and the identical beliefs we have surrounding The Secret and the laws of attraction. We both have the book "The Secret" and she has purchased The Secret DVD. Everyday we are talking and emailing each other our successes and our gratitude for receiving the secret. My close relationship with my sister is something I wanted so very much, and now I have it!

Little things made us true believers. Going on shopping trips and imagining parking in the front of the store without waiting, no waiting in lines at checkouts, having good times with friends at get-togethers, receiving money and checks in the mail, having ease in talking to our spouses about topics that in the past have started frustration and arguments... We have encountered every mentioned situation several times... Actually every time we go out and about as individuals. We have been blessed with the knowledge of knowing we can do and have whatever we believe.

This morning I sat in front of my computer looking at my ebay storefront and about me page and feeling a great sense of joy, wealth, abundance, success, and being able to help others. "I'm a success!" rang so loudly through my mind and body. I KNOW I will achieve what I've set out to do. In the past I've looked at the same thing in wonderment - how am I going to make this work? How will I be successful? Now, I sit here and see it and feel it in the present. It is such a gift!

So, THANK YOU from both of us! You have been an inspiration and a mentor in so many ways.

Best Wishes!

These two e-mails below were from a subscriber who bought our The Wisdom of James Allen & Other Rare Mind Power ebooks Collection and subsequently began his own research on the historical background of the authors and their work. We'd like to say a big Thank You to Ed.

A Great Bargain

Tim,

I'd be very pleased to have you share this. In doing so, please mention that Internet information like this is nearly impossible to verify as 100% accurate. At least it will give people an idea about the timing of the information.

One thing I also found out is that there are scores of other ebooks on this material. Some are free. Others are collectively more expensive than the package of 26 you provide. And some are part of the Guttenburg Project (I believe this is an attempt to eventually make an electronic copy of all printed material) and shouldn't be charged for. I think your package is a great bargain for the price and is also a great introduction to this material.

New Age Thinking

Hi Tim,

Researching these authors was an interesting exercise. Some had very little info, others have websites dedicated to them. Overall, they were educated, successful, and came from several countries. They undoubtedly influenced each other, and some may have personally known each other. It looks like much of today's "new age" type thinking comes directly from these and other authors; most receive little or no credit from today's gurus.

James Allen (1864-1912), British, wrote all 19 of his books between 1902-1912. "As a man thinketh" was his 2nd one, so it was probably published in 1902 or 3. No years were given for any of them.

Aaron Martin Crane "Right and Wrong Thinking" probably published in 1905.

Annie Besant (1847-1933), British, married to a minister, had 2 kids, divorced after 5 years due to her avowed atheism, lived in India last half of her life, "Thought Power" published in 1901.

Arnold Bennett (1867-1931), British, "Mental Efficiency" first published in 1907 as "The Reasonable Life".

Brown Landone (1847-1945), British, minister, medical doctor, lived last half of life in Florida, wrote over 100 books of all kinds, "How to turn your desires and ideals into reality" published in 1922.

Bruce MacLelland "Prosperity through thoughts" published in 1904.

Charles F. Haanel (1866-1949), American, "Mental Chemistry" published in 1922, also wrote "The Master Key".

Christian Larson "The ideal made real" published in 1909, "Your Forces and how to use them" published in 1912.

Earl Prevette " How to turn your ability into cash" published in 1960, though there might have been an earlier version.

Emile Coue (1857-1926), French, "Self Mastery" published in 1926.

Ernest Holmes (1887-1960), American, "The Science of Mind" published in 1922, magazine by same name still published today.

Genevieve Behrend American, "Your invisible Power" probably published in 1922, no info on "Attaining your desires", probably lived until about 1960, was the only student of Thomas Troward.

Harry Kahne "The multiple mentality Course" published in the early 1920's, vaudeville type performer who could simultaneously write with both hands, feet, and mouth at the same time (one hand would also write backwards and in reverse).

Henry Thomas Hamblin (1873-1958), British, both books probably published in the early 1920's, founded "Science of Thought Review"

L.W. Rogers Canadian ?, "The Way to Power" published in 1922.

O. Hashnu Hara American ?, "Concentration and the Acquirement of Magnetism" published in 1910, wrote at least 19 similar books.

Orison Swett Marden (1850-1924), American, minister, medical doctor, "An Iron Will" published in 1901, founded "Success Magazine" in 1897, wrote at least 2 books per year from 1894-1924.

W.R.C. Latson medical doctor, "Secrets of Mental Supremacy" published in 1913.

Warren Felt Evans (1817-1889), American, minister, received personal healing directly from Phineas Quimby (the father of New Thought), "The Mental Cure" published in 1869, it was the first book published about New Thought" where the mind was used to heal the body.
